These cards are laid out to be Air Dried.

When your valuable documents, including photographs, are damaged by water or fire, extreme caution should be taken to help ensure the fire damage does not destroy the document. These Cards are being Air Dried in this picture. They were taken from an apartment fire in Tempe, Arizona.  Once they get done drying, the home owner is going to be taking to get appraised to see what value is still in the cards after this house fire.
