Cleaning after a fire extinguisher.

Fires, in general, are dangerous, having a Fire Extinguisher close by can make a big difference. 

Not only can it save you thousands of dollars, but it can also save your life and the life of others. 

It is extremely important to make sure your fire extinguisher is not expired and is in good working order. Check with your local fire department to find out what the local laws are for extinguishers in commercial buildings. 

It is extremely important to make sure the fire extinguisher is used properly. When using a fire extinguisher, remember the word PASS

• P - Pull the pin while holding the nozzle away from you, then release the locking mechanism.
• A - Aim low and point the nozzle at the base of the fire.
• S - Squeeze the lever slowly and evenly.
• S - Sweep the nozzle from side to side.
